Education for All: Supporting Schools across Tanzania

Long before Kisarawe became our focus, Emattan supported education wherever we saw a need — building classrooms, constructing playgrounds, providing meals, and furnishing schools with the basics student need to learn: desks, chairs, clean water.

These projects were often small and specific — a swing set built from scratch, a feeding program for a day, a room outfitted with proper seating — but each one mattered to the children and teachers who received it. Over time, these efforts shaped what we now understand about lasting impact: that real change happens when support is sustained, not scattered.

That understanding is what led us to Kisarawe, where we’re now building a long term campus — one that brings education, agriculture, and vocational training together in one place, for one community, for the long run.
