Mburahati is a low income area that has a population of approximate 75,000. There are no hospitals or clinics within a 50 mile radius, so most people would never receive health care. Our clinic now provides medical for many people that had no access to these services before.

Emattan’s dedication to building such a farm in Haiti not only addresses environmental challenges, but also offers a lifeline to local communities.

In the bustling streets of Mburahati, Tanzania, where opportunity often seems like a distant dream, Emattan, through micro-finance initiatives, has been turning dream into reality. This inspiring journey begins with a simple desire — one woman’s desire to provide a better life for her family. With limited resources, this woman had a vision of using her sewing skills to earn a livelihood. However, the cost of sewing machines remained a significant barrier. This is where Emattan stepped in to help, offering a micro-finance loan that would change her life.

By building schools in Tanzania, Emattan is not only expanding access to education, but also addressing critical issues like literacy rates, poverty reduction, and community development.

Through giving a microfinance loan we helped start a chicken farm for one of the Tanzanian locals. He nurtured his poultry into a thriving business, producing high quality, large eggs that have found a steady market in local hotels. This venture not only uplifted out own lives, but also contributed to the growth of our community.
